Hot headed...

Our little man had his first fever this past weekend. It was so super sad. We went to the doctor's on Wed because he had a cough that just wouldn't go away which was starting to get worse. She determined it to be bronchiolitis, which is viral and very little can be done but try to get more comfortable. That night he was up nearly every hour and had a fever of 102. He was just so not himself. We dealt with the fever for 2 days and considering how stuffed up he was and how horrible the cough sounded, he actually wasn't in all that bad of a mood. Every once in a while we'd even see a little smirk. Mostly he just was quiet and snuggly (certainly can't complain if that's his reaction to sick). Finally on Saturday we got our happy little man back. He woke up from his morning nap (which I also took since he was up a lot at night several nights in a row and I was feeling a sore throat coming on too) and he was babbling and happy and talking to his monkeys (he LOVES his monkey mobile). It was so nice to have our little guy back after 2 days of no smiles. We even had him giggling by the afternoon and by Sunday he really seemed himself again. Sorry to have missed Amy's baby shower. We'll have to get down to see the family soon now that everyone is feeling better. For now, here are a few random pics to hold you over until our next visit.
He never falls asleep on us like this anymore. So precious.

...and when I put him down to eat some dinner it was clear just how tired he was. Crime scene?

He's always dressing like me. I totally had my purple sweater on before he got dressed, so he's got to be the one to go change, right?!

Speaking of dressing alike...the cousins came for a visit. I'm sure Bev will post the full extent of photos from that week someday soon.

Mr. Cadam and Mr. Rory doing a duet.

Rory getting himself all pumped up for March Madness in his track suit.

He's finally big enough to wear his gold shoes...and now they're too small for him. Things fit for about a day or two these days.

Practicing for summer weather. If we wear it, it will come.

More fun with cousin Cadam. They are both doing very well learning to share their toys.

...and last but not least, the prized Nordic Cab makes another guest appearance on the blog, this time in jogger format. We took Rory for his first little jog (and my first run in almost a year) while he was sick. It was a beautiful day and we thought the fresh air would do him some good. He slept. I guess that's good.
