Dr Rory in his new sweater

Rory absolutely loves his new sweater that Nana made him. I can't believe he's big enough to fit into it already. We inherited a doctor set from a friend at work and he's been having so much fun pretending to be a doctor. Sometimes I think he's just wears the stethescope as an accessory.

In other news this week, he has gotten 3 new teeth sometime in the last few days/weeks/who knows, but all of a sudden they are there, bringing the grand total to 9 teeth. Crazy. He's growing up.

Dancing to The Boss

Rory loves to dance, especially to Bruce Springsteen.
He gets a bit carried away sometimes, check out the video and watch to the end, it's worth it.

Halloween as a dog...

Rory had a great Halloween. He was a dalmation and I think he really understood the fact that he was a dog and he LOVED it. He kept looking at his paw and pointing and saying "dog" and getting very excited about it.
He had just as much fun playing in the leaves as he did trick or treating.
His favorite part of the night was climbing up people's stairs and running around on their porches. He did like the candy part. He wanted to take several pieces at each house, but we tried to keep him to only one. He also thought that since the first house we went to was our friend's house and we went inside to have dinner with them, that we went inside of all the houses that opened the doors. It was very funny to see him take a piece of candy at the first house and walk past the woman into the foyer as if he was home.
At my work party, he figured out how to eat an entire piece of pizza by himself.
He had a blast running the hallways and checking out the conference rooms.
He was very intrigued by the dalmation hanging on the wall at work. He actually seemed to understand that it was the same as his costume. He pointed at the wall, then pointed at his own paw and said "dog" several times, then cracking up laughing. It was super cute.
Serious dog.

My first hair cut...

Rory got to meet Knaughty Sarah this weekend and got his first hair cut. It was just a tiny trim around the ears, but it makes me feel like he's such a big guy now.

I'm not sure he really liked it or disliked it, but he was certainly fascinated by the whole thing. He watched Mama B get her hair cut after he sat in the chair and he thought that was a bit more interesting than his own hair cut. Overall he did really well though. We aren't ready to give the back of his hair a real hair cut yet...I love the way its growing all scraggly at the ends now.

Lots of firsts in October

Rory has had quite the month in October...

He's learning to share with baby Bayla. We've started trading daycare 2 days a week with our new neighbors and its been so much fun to watch the 2 kids interact.
He loves to wear Mama B's slippers.

He got his first toothbrush
Usually he likes to watch me brush my teeth first, then he tries out his own.
